Information we collect

The Collector List collects your email address and, if you provide them, your first name and collecting interests such as a favourite player, team, character, set or sport. We also keep the date, source, version and exact wording of your express consent, plus your subscription status. The “What should we break next?” form collects the product type, maker, year, preferred show format, optional details and an optional contact email. Streamer access requests collect an email address, display name, optional Whatnot handle and profile link, an optional note, consent and review status. Approved streamers also provide show details.

How we use it

Collector List information is used to send occasional Chatman show, break, product, event and shop updates. Optional collecting interests help personalize recommendations, remember what a collector enjoys and provide more familiar service or service recovery. A break-request email is used only to follow up about that suggestion and does not enroll you in marketing. Streamer request information is used only to review, approve or reject platform access and administer the shared calendar. Streamer emails are used for authentication and administration and are not displayed on the public calendar. Approved show information may be displayed publicly.

Consent and your choices

Newsletter signup is optional and requires an unchecked, affirmative opt-in. You can withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting Chatman. Unsubscribe requests are processed without charge. You may also ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to records Chatman must reasonably retain for legal or consent-management purposes.

Sharing, storage and retention

Chatman does not sell or rent submitted personal information or share it for another organization’s marketing. Supabase provides authentication and database services and processes information on Chatman’s behalf. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, business records, security and proof of consent. A minimal suppression record may be retained after an unsubscribe so your preference can be respected.

Third-party services

Show links may point to platforms such as Whatnot, Instagram or YouTube. Those services apply their own privacy practices. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online service can promise absolute security.
